Roofers in Horsham for the period houses of the old town and the estates of Roffey, Southwater and Broadbridge Heath. Ring 01273 110909 or send the form for a free quote from William.
Horsham's old town around the Causeway has some of the most distinctive roofs in Sussex, laid in Horsham stone: heavy sandstone slabs on stout oak frames. Around them are Victorian terraces and villas in slate and clay tile, and beyond those the big post-war and modern estates of Roffey, Southwater and Broadbridge Heath.
Most roofs we are asked about here are the everyday kind: concrete-tile estate roofs with failing felt and ridges, timber fascias past their best and flat-roofed extensions. Victorian slate roofs bring nail fatigue and slipped slates.
Horsham stone roofs are listed-building work. We tell you plainly what we can do on them and what needs a stone roofing specialist.
Horsham is about 18 miles north of our Brighton base, up the A23. We cover the town, Roffey, Southwater, Broadbridge Heath, Warnham and Mannings Heath.
Most roof repairs in Horsham are on estate roofs in concrete tile: slipped tiles, failing ridges and verges and felt past its life. Victorian slate roofs near the town centre bring slipped slates from tired nails.
A new roof on a Roffey or Southwater estate house includes new membrane, battens, tiles and dry ridge and dry verge, and it is the time to replace fascias, soffits and gutters too. Our new roof cost guide lists 2026 budgets.
